3D Maps are one click away
3D city models provide suitable 3D information to give context to your projects, develop and visualise scenarios as well as providing a comprehensive 3D base dataset for change monitoring.
3D mesh generated from 7.5cm imagery
The 3D mesh is generated using advanced photogrammetry techniques and aerial imagery captured using large format camera systems. The 3D mesh is generated from 7.5cm resolution aerial imagery ( for 2018 3D models).
Off the shelf or on demand
3D city models of major Australian cities are available off the shelf and will be updated once a year from 2019.
For unique projects, on demand service is available upon request.
The right 3D format for your application
The 3D data can be provided in a range of 3D formats suitable for use in 3D GIS and web applications, CAD and rendering software.
3D formats include: FBX, OBJ, COL, Cesium 3D Tiles, OSGB, ESRI i3s, Bentley 3SM/3MX, Skyline TerraExplorer 3DML.
GIS formats include: LAS 3D Point Clouds, DSM, True Ortho
A wide range of industries
Large scale 3D cityscapes are currently used in construction, engineering, telecommunication, real-estate, media and entertainment industry.
Typically applications include visualization, simulation, measurements and change analysis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which 3D format should I choose?
It depends on your application. If you are planning to use the 3D model in a rendering software such as 3D Studio Max or Blender, the most suitable formats will be FBX or OBJ. If you are an ESRI ArcGis user you might want to use an i3s delivery format.
Can you derive additional spatial data from the 3D mesh?
We can extract a true ortho imagery mosaic: The leaning appearance of tall buildings, transmission towers, poles and trees that can be seen in traditional vertical aerial imagery is completely eliminated.
We can also derive a Digital Surface Model as well as a colourised 3D point cloud.
Can I only buy part of the 3D model?
We have a minimum purchase of $1000.
7.5cm -10cm resolution 3D models are sold as a whole or at $500 per square km.
High resolution 3D models are sold as a whole or at $80-$120 per Hectare.
